So much of your life has been about putting others first.

You were taught that being selfless was the “right” thing to do, but now it feels like something’s missing and you have no idea where to start with making changes.

You don’t want to stay stuck, but taking a step forward—and away from what you’ve become accustomed to—seems too daunting to face on your own.

MAYBE YOU’RE STRUGGLING WITH…

  • Anxiety & Perfectionism

You’re constantly on the go, juggling deadlines, to-do lists, and expectations—because slowing down and letting emotions catch up with you feels more uncomfortable than staying busy. Your mind races with what-ifs, and you doubt yourself even when making the most basic decisions.

If you’re exhausted from trying to hold it all together, therapy can help you untangle the overwhelm, quiet the noise, and find a way to feel more at ease in your own life.

  • Relationships & Self-Worth

You find yourself wondering, “Why do I keep ending up in the same patterns?”—with friends, family, and romantic partners. Maybe you’ve ignored “red flags” or felt like you had to shrink yourself just to keep the peace. Now, it feels like you’re in too deep to start standing up for yourself.

In therapy, we’ll explore what’s been holding you back and figure out how your relationships can feel more fulfilling, starting with the one you have with yourself.

  • Grief & Life Transitions

Whether you’re navigating a breakup, life after high school or college, a long-distance move, a career shift, empty nest, or the loss of a loved one or a beloved pet, change can leave you feeling like you don’t recognize yourself (or your life) anymore. You might feel unsettled by the uncertainty of the future, or overwhelmed by emotions and distraught at how quickly life moves on.

Therapy offers a space to sort through it all, find your footing, and face your grief or uncertainty with a little more clarity.

HI, I’M MONICA.

Here, you’re invited to be fully you—no need to filter yourself or say what you think I want to hear. I’ll always listen and give you the space to make sense of whatever’s weighing on you, but when I see an opportunity for your growth, I’ll also call that out, too. I’m not one to sugarcoat things, because real change happens when we’re willing to get curious and sit with the uncomfortable stuff. That doesn’t mean our time together will always feel somber—I sometimes use humor to lighten the mood, because this work is real, but laughter can be healing, too.

I take an integrative approach to therapy, meaning we’ll look at all of you—not just your thoughts, but what your body’s telling you, where your emotions manifest, and what your soul is truly yearning for. This is because I believe you are more than just your thoughts or your feelings. You are mind, body, heart, and soul, and when something feels “off,” that’s worth paying attention to. I can help you learn to listen to your body, quiet your mind, and follow your heart to find peace within your soul.

3. Choose Differently

By reconnecting with who you are at your core, you can start to make choices and set boundaries that honor your values. I know from my own experience that learning to refer to your inner compass rather than being so influenced by external pressures can change your life for the better—and I want to help you get there.

It’s time to do what’s best for you.
